My kids are usually late risers. But last Saturday, they woke up early to attend a family friend's wedding in Los Banos, Laguna. We managed to get them dressed and ready for the day's event. It was my second time at Quezon Memorial Circle. The first time was in the year 2000 when I attended and single-handedly manned our Japanese trade group's booth for two days. So it was a bittersweet moment for me when the bus arrived at the entrance of the Circle. But it was not what I remembered it to be. There's no trick-or-treating for my kids this year. Basti who's 10 doesn't want to anymore and went on a vacation with his cousins. I was trying to finish up some of my transcription work but my little boy would not let me. He kept asking me to lie down and sleep. Finally, I gave him a piece of paper and a ballpen and just asked him to draw or write. Drawing is not something new to him. He had pretty much used up almost all of the scratch papers in the house. He learned how to hold a ballpen adeptly even before he turned two.

Mother's Day was an uneventful day for me. Although I can't say I'm sad about that. Here are photos of my boys acting out what they see in the movies and what they see around them. I'm glad that my boys know how to improvise and can make toys and have fun out of the simplest things. We are proud to say that when it comes to our youngest, Simon, we are officially diaper-free since January of this year. Last year, Sam's teacher asked us mommies if we could bring a small pole with a magnet dangling on a string attached to it. I didn't quite get that at first and so I had to see a sample. Finally, I'm done with our new look. I have decided to change the name of this blog from Three Little Boys and A Call Center Mommy to MaiThreeBoyz. Why?
