A few days after my birthday, I received a message on Facebook. Rather, I was tagged on a photo on Facebook. And I was so happy because suddenly one of my wishes was granted. My wish? To have a copy of Zia Quizon's album CD. And guess what, not only did a get a CD, I also got a tumbler signed by Zia herself.
What makes this CD special is it was given to me by a family friend, Lou, who is close to Zsa-Zsa Padilla and who is also a supporter of Zia. It was not bought at any music store at all but was requested from the singer herself. Lou said it was signed by Zia's at SM Pampanga during the last leg of her album tours. I felt like it was Zia who gave it to me, which makes me feel kinda special, ahehehe.(Pagbigyan nyo na!) I am undeniably a fan of this young talented girl. Zia's music is refreshing and pleasant to my ears because it's different from what we've been hearing these days. Her voice is also very unique. The last singer that I really went gaga over is Alanis Morisette. Now, you have a clue how old I am. :)
The CD comes with lyrics pages of the 6 songs that are included in the album. Even Simon loves Zia's music; he asks for it to be played every now and then. He would say, "San si Zia?" (where's Zia?) I wish I still have time to upload photos of the CD or upload a video from YouTube, but as usual three little boys are already demanding for their computer time and asking me every five minute or so if I'm done.
Thanks so much to our friend Lou for granting one of my wishes. It was one of the best birthday gift I had ever had. Happiness!

Aaaah, I received a Regine Velasquez CD from a friend a while back, and it was pur joy, as well. I first bought a Regine CD in Chinatown when I still lived in the US, and was hooked. Lost it when I moved back to Indonesia, so imagine my surprise to receive it as a gift!
